Hi Jen,
I met you at your class last Sunday. I had signed up for this clothing swap weeks ago. Never been to a clothing swap before, so I am not sure what to expect. Thanks for the tips!
Hey Kanisha, I’m so glad you made it to class on sunday. Looking forward to seeing you at the swap. I will post recommendations everyday this week to get folks prepared. Hope you find these tips helpful. -Jen
Oh Wow! Your right 31 days! Yikes! Ok I’m committed to get through this. By the way National Sewing month is in September. Everyday o the month I will wear something I made:)
You have SO many clothes! My wardrobe is not even a fourth of what you have pictured here! But great tips, I believe I will bring a duffle or rolling bag to the swap on Sunday. Shopping can be *sew* exciting when you do it in a frugal way 😉
Yes a duffle and rolling bag would be great. I’m thinking of investing in one of those collapsing two wheeled carts that people use for groceries. I will look for one on Friday while I’m out. Seems like Costco should have them
Courtney it looks like a lot but it’s mostly work clothes. Noun have one closet with suits, one closet with blouses and jackets. And my rack now has slacks, skirts and dresses. It’s very hard to let go. But I’m trying to only hold on to the essential things. This 30 for 30 challenge is going to prove a lot to me.

Hi Jen,
Thanks for these tips!
Take care,
April
So next year, remember that March is National Craft Month…so it should be 31 outfits in 31 days in March 🙂 Is there a national sewing month?
